Goon (Book 1):

In a world with superheroes, agents, masked vigilantes and global criminal syndicates, this story follows the life of a low level career goon named Blaze and his arduous climb up the criminal ladder. Through his journey he learns to manage staff, host team meetings, and faces off against sidekicks, and competing supervillains. With a low budget he hires an eclectic crew of misfits that include a young and arrogant computer hacker, a cyborg with impulse control issues, and Joe. Just plain Joe. For years Blaze worked for organized crime, gangs, and that one time with a ninja clan. For the first time he gets a promotion! He rises above the street level mook that gets kicked through the window by the masked vigilantes and becomes the associate that either succeeds in capturing the hero, or attempts to flee in an epic car chase. This is an action packed series that gives the reader the thrilling view of the superhero genre from the perspective of the Goon.

Number 2 (Book 2):

Being the second in command of a global criminal start-up requires long hours and many different functions. But, in a world where there are caped vigilantes, secret agents, and supernatural gangsters, the position can be extremely perilous. In the second installment of the Goon Series, we follow Blaze as he learns on the job his new role as a criminal executive where he is no longer the faceless goon that stands to the side, but now the face of the organization. His new added responsibilities include but are not limited to: negotiating high stake deals, threatening dangerous rivals into submission, and also being the target for law enforcement agencies and assassins.

Blaze needs to learn to navigate the dangerous waters of criminal executive leadership in order to survive. "Number 2" continues the action-packed tale of the Goon series and gives the reader a deeper insight into the workings of the underworld within the superhero genre.

Boss (Book 3):

The life of a criminal executive has its ups and downs. For starters, one needs money to keep essential friends and maintain necessary allies. Bribing officials and avoiding assassinations are also very expensive. In the third installment of the Goon Series, we follow Blaze at a low point in his life. He is wanted by numerous Federal Agencies and is the head of a bankrupt organization. With no money, he is losing his friends and is hitting a turning point in his career. He sets out on a path of self-exploration within the exciting field of criminal consulting. But Blaze can only escape his fate for so long, and he has hard decisions to make. No matter what he decides, the question remains: Does he have what it takes to be the Boss?
