M.R Castilla is a lifelong martial artist, fan of comics, D&D, and action movies. He enjoys humor, satire, and writing tales. He has a fascination with underdog stories within the fantasy and science fiction genres. Goon was his first book, and it was his opportunity to explore the low level thug's experience within the culture of criminal organizations as seen in the superhero genres of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and James Bond films.
